The Creators Project - Neon Indian "Polish Girl" by Tim Nackashi | More 80s video flashback fun

another great mid 80s themed video.

details:
The music video for Neon Indian's classic cyber-track "Polish Girl," off Neon Indian's new album Era Extraña, incorporates light painting to tell the story of a disjointed personal journey. "Polish Girl" was directed by Tim Nackashi and produced in collaboration between The Creators Project, Neon Indian, and Mom + Pop Music.

CHARLES COHEN AT THE BUCHLA MUSIC EASEL by Alex Tyson on Vimeo

A short video from a few years back of Charles Cohen playing my absolute favorite analog modular synth, the Buchla 200 / Music Easel... both of which together are about $60,000 now. I've played one a few times, and they are without question the most organic sounding devices ever made. A rare treat indeed to actually witness someone so proficient with the system.

credits:
Sound artist Charles Cohen improvising on a 1970's Buchla Music Easel. This extremely rare instrument is one of Don Buchla's 200 series. Buchla (a pioneer of audio synthesis) only manufactured 14 of these units. The entire film was edited from an hour-long set of free improvisation, with audio was taken directly from Charles' mixing board.

Produced by Alex Tyson, a sound and video artist from Pennsylvania. Shot using the Letus35 Extreme and a 35mm LensBaby Composer.
