The April Issue, currently on newsstands in the US, is The Logo Issue, and has review of some of the best and most familiar logos of the 20th century.  It's quite nice, and they get into a few details surrounding each logo.

Also, a great bonus article about "British Designers and the cult of Wim Crouwel".

Woolmark (1964),  Deutsche Bank (1974), British Rail (1964), Michelin (1898), V&A (1989), Tate (1999), World Wildlife Fund (1961), I ♥ NY (1975), CBS (1951), National Theatre (1974), NASA (1974), British Steel (1969), Canadian National (1960), Apple (1977), London, Montblanc, FedEx

Speaking of Wim Crouwel ....Man of the Future, the last Wallpaper also covered his career a bit, and subscribers even got the special Wim Crouwel cover.
